  1. A peculiar feature of SaturnΓÇÖs ring system are the so-called radial spokes, similar to the spokes of a bicycle wheel. The spokes seem to be composed of tiny, dark particles of dust, which may be suspended above the plane of SaturnΓÇÖs rings.
